In October 2001 Jim Carroll was responsible for brokering a deal between the Digital Media team of Citria and Deloitte & Touche in London.  A complex deal requiring tact and discretion at all times, Jim managed to keep both parties at the table until all obstacles had been removed. Jim’s tenacity, patience and knowledge of the marketplace including the delicate art of negotiation, ensured the deal was successfully completed, over an exhausting three-month period. 

 

In order for the deal to go through, presentations and negotiations had to take place at the highest levels within Deloitte & Touche, and involved John Connolly, CEO, Nick Griffin, Lead Partner Deloitte Management Solutions, and Phil Lemanski, Lead Partner Digital Media practice in Deloitte Management Solutions. There were times when it would have been easier for both parties to pull back, but Jim was the glue that kept it all together. The deal was ultimately given the go ahead, in January 2002 by CEO John Connolly.

 

In my view I would say that Jim is a very experienced Headhunter, with in depth industry knowledge - particularly of the Management and Technology consulting sector - and who has the confidence and interpersonal skills to handle search assignments that require accurate representation to both parties and total discretion.  

 

I would have no hesitation in recommending JGC Ltd and Jim Carroll to anyone.
